Select all the files you want to use (Ctrl + Left Mouse Button) and drag them over the gzdoom.exe. Place your IWAD files (Doom.wad, Doom2.wad, Plutonia.wad, etc.) into the GZDoom folder. How-To: Three Different Methods to Install and Use Mods with GZDoom Drag Both The Doom2.wad file and the mod into GZDoom.exe. Extract GZDoom into folder of your choice. This program allows you to easily and efficiently play Doom mods. If you ‘re going to install many of them DOOMExtract is your go-to mod. 
DOOM (2016) doesn’t exactly have great modding support due to the way it’s programmed but that didn’t prevent the player base from introducing some substantial mods.
