Unfortunately, I found that most did as much harm as good because they increased the light's brightness in addition to the distance this caused the game's HDR lighting system to dampen other nearby lights to the point that I couldn't see very well beyond the Pip-Boy's range. There are many Pip-Boy light mods available, and I tried several. Changes color from subtle green to subtle halogen amber for a warmer, more natural lighting effect. Decreases fade (brightness) from 1.2 to 0.55 to reduce HDR dampening effects. Increases magnitude (distance) from 15 to 45 to illuminate a greater area. Wish you could use SmoothLight with Fallout 3 too? Well, ma1025 has made your wish come true by porting it over: SmoothLight looking a bit dim at night with weather/brightness/lighting mods?
